Singapore’s favourite Italian steakhouse is located at 26 Mohamed Sultan Road,  set in a picturesque traditional shophouse just five minutes from the CBD.

Slip into a cozy leather booth and experience unmatched, intimate dining by candlelight with impeccable service, or treat your guests to a modern Tuscan feast at the Chef’s table, adjacent to the open-design kitchen.

OUR STORY

"Bistecca" is Italian for steak

Our signature dish, and namesake, is the Bistecca alla Fiorentina — a thick cut, char-grilled T-bone steak to share.

Prepared in traditional Tuscan style over a high temperature wood-fired grill to produce a charred crust yet tender and juicy centre for an indulgent steak experience.

Our F1 Wagyu beef is pasture raised in the King and Kiewa Valleys of Australia, and organic grain-finished under the highest ethical standards. All our seafood is sustainably sourced, and our produce organic where possible.

Private Event Space - La Soffitta

La Soffitta is one of Singapore’s most unique and atmospheric event spaces.  Intimate and luxurious, it’s perfect for private celebrations and corporate entertaining on the city fringe.

Our heritage shophouse is lined with authentic red brick walls built over 90 years ago, complemented by Bistecca’s interior design and bespoke original artwork.

Capacity is up to 30 guests at 3 tables, with bookings available daily for lunch and dinner, subject to minimum spend.

Begin with a sparkling Prosecco, white or red wine, or a refreshing non-alcoholic aperitivo. 

Our menu includes Tuscan sharing classics: Crostini Toscani Bruschetta, Panzanella with Burrata, and house-made Pappardelle al Ragù. The feast continues with your choice of our signature F1 Wagyu sharing steaks, served with indulgent sides and signature sauces.

End on a sweet note with a warm slice of Torta della Nonna and creamy Vanilla Gelato, individually plated for each guest.

best steak i’ve ever had in my life (i only recently started loving steak, growing up i never really appreciated it). tbone was so thick, substantial & cooked perfectly for me, we asked for medium rare & it had the perfect mouthfeel, super tender and yummy🥹🥩

special shoutout to the dessert platter wtf everything was so good for no reason?! $35 for the pretty celebratory platter of 3 desserts (seasonal). we got so lucky with the warm(!!!!), gooey, sticky date pudding topped with the nicest creamy macadamia ice cream oml i went to heaven. i looked at the bf & widened my eyes so big bc it was so mindblowingly good. cant get over it. wna go back just for this sticky date pudding lol kuazhang ik

oh there was also complimentary bread served with this tomato spread & it was very g, made us even hungrier! truly passed as a starter🙂‍↕️

We do, however, enjoy exploring different housemade pasta, so we're currently serving Rigatoni al Ragu, made with Braised Beef & Tomato in Red Wine, topped with ample shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.

Despite calling myself a steak lover, I had actually never been to Bistecca until now!

Ranked 38th in the World’s Best Steaks 2024 and 1st in Asia, this legendary steakhouse certainly lives up to its reputation.

The restaurant is housed in a beautiful Peranakan-style building, with a sleek, contemporary interior featuring warm wood tones.

The star of the night, the T-bone steak, was massive and incredibly thick! Cooked to perfection, the exterior was beautifully seared over charcoal to a crispy finish, while the inside remained tender and juicy. Both the sirloin and fillet were absolutely delicious!
The fillet, in particular, was exquisitely tender, melting in the mouth… pure perfection!

The Wagyu Steak Tartare, served as an appetizer, had an irresistible combination of rich umami and deep, complex flavors.

Squid Ink Pasta was a luxurious dish, featuring creamy sea urchin butter sauce and the rich umami of shrimp, perfectly complementing the squid ink-infused pasta.

The salad and the sautéed Brussels sprouts served as a side for the steak were simple yet refined and delicious.

We might have overordered for just two people—there was absolutely no room left for dessert…

This is a place I can see myself returning to again and again. A true gem in Singapore!
